More than likely most of us have been to a bachelorette party at one point in our lives. Typically they are all the same; drinks, dancing and maybe have that special dance lined up from a male dancer for the bride-to-be. As with most things, bachelorette parties are changing with the times and here are some unique bachelorette party ideas so many more of her friends can celebrate the bride’s last days of being single.
Create A Masterpiece
Many stores have been popping up here and there where you can actually create your own piece of jewelry. Small shops, which specialize in beads and jewelry making offer small workshops or programs for groups to design their own glass jewelry. This would be a wonderful way to bring the brides family and friends together and actually create a piece that you could even wear to the wedding! Family and friends of all ages could participate and they will always associate their piece of jewelry with such a joyous occasion.
There are also art stores, specifically pottery shops, where you can make and design your very own piece of pottery. From vases to platters, you simply select your piece, then paint and design to your liking. This is such a fun experience to share with a group of women and just like the jewelry, you’ll also remember why and when you created that piece of pottery, essentially making those memories last forever.
Cook Up Something New
Does the bride-to be need to brush up on her cooking skills? Why not throw an at-home cooking lesson for the future bride and her friends and family? If there is a specific cuisine that she favors most, hire a local chef and have him or her give a lesson on how to prepare a few dishes. For example, if the bride enjoys sushi, why not learn how to make your own sushi rolls? If she enjoys fine French cooking, look up one of the more popular French restaurants in your area and see if the sous chef or even the head chef could come and do a demonstration. No matter the cuisine, sharing a few laughs and learning a few new cooking techniques is a unique way to celebrate with the bride-to-be.
Dance, Dance, Dance
This bachelorette party idea may not be suitable for all ages, but it is definitely unique. Look up your local dance studios and see who offers exotic dancing lessons. Believe it or not, many studios do offer these lessons and would make for a hysterical time out with the girls! Not only would they instruct you on how to move slightly more provocative, but also show you how to feel more confident about your body. Or if you feel that is a bit too much, go ahead and see who offers belly dancing lessons, this would be perfect for all ages and would also make for a great time out!
As you can see, there are a variety of ways to enjoy those extra special moments with the bride-to-be. Not only would these ideas make for memorable moments, but they are great ways to include everyone.
