These days, many couples are moving towards Asian theme wedding to sanctify their marriage vows. For lovers of all things oriental, we have some ideas for you which you might want to consider in creating an Oriental feel for your wedding celebration. We manage to get in touch with Agnes from Favors Essence to share with us on some of their ideas for an Asian theme wedding. Let’s take a look at the details shall we?
In order to create the Oriental flair, we had chosen materials such as paper lantern, fresh flowers and candles to evoke the feel of an Asian theme wedding. Flowers that were used are namely Green pom pom balls, Hydrangea, Red Roses, Red Carnations and White Eustoma to make the effect.
According to Chinese beliefs, round shape signifies reunion. For something that is more traditional and contemporary, we had decorated the venue with lots of� round designs which includes lanterns as well as flower balls.
When hiring a wedding florist and decorater make sure you:-
- Give a notice of at least 6 (six) months to the wedding florist and decorater prior to your wedding so that they have ample time to research for materials.
- Inform the wedding florist and decorater about your budget so that they will find the best solution to reduce the cost without cutting the quality and beauty of your floral arrangements.
- Share your preferred designs or ideas with the florist and decorater in order for them to create something that you would like instead of dreading it.
- Provide 2 or 3 colour combinations that you like and let your florist and decorater know to avoid any mismatch of colours that you may dislike for your wedding.
