A Traditional Chinese Wedding

The colour red is the central wedding theme when it comes to a Chinese wedding. It symbolizes love, joy and prosperity and is usually used in a variety of ways in the Chinese wedding traditions. The bride’s wedding gown is often red as well as the wedding gift boxes or envelopes for cash gifts. Well, even the groom and bride’s home are adorned in red on their wedding day. Let’s take a sneak peek on how a traditional wedding is like in Malaysia. Thank you Darren Jee (Darren Jee Photography) for sharing these wonderful photos with us that captures the essence of Chinese culture and customs as well as the lovely moments expressed by your charming couple ;)
