His spontaneous, state-of-the-art photojournalistic approach draws upon a storytelling experience that creates a portfolio of loving, fun-filled images that truly documents a couple’s special day. It is important that every smile or loving gaze shared by the couples to be real and expressed from the depths of their heart. Paul’s creativity in portrait photography is best defined as a fusion of fine art, fashion and wedding photography. His vision is to bring a photojournalistic fashion forward approach to wedding photography.
He still remembers vividly the overwhelming inspiration that moved him after
viewing a wedding slide show prepared by one of his favourite photographers a few years ago. From then on, Paul chose to specialise in wedding photography as he thoroughly enjoys the process of creating great photographs despite having to work under pressure with high expectations from his clients. In fact, he regards it as an honour to witness his clients’ special day as he enjoys every moment spent capturing the memories. To sharpen his photography skills and technique, Paul often attends workshops and seminars organised by international wedding photographers to share ideas as well as to gain new knowledge. He also keeps abreast of the latest trends through his favourite photographers’ blogs.
To him, a perfect wedding shoot should meet the expectation of both photographer and clients. This can be done by discussing with the couple on how they want the final overall look and feel of their wedding photos to be. Gaining the couple’s trust and confidence is also key to developing creative portraits. As such, Paul is always willing to stride great lengths to create a captivating wedding album that will bring joyful memories of that special day.
